27 things I learned when I was 27 (Introvert edition)

Hello Again ! its been awhile, but I am back. I recently celebrated my 28th birthday and I took sometime to reflect on somethings. Here are some of the things I learned


  1. Its not my job to make people comfortable with who I am

  2. Work is work

  3. Cant please everyone and I should want to

  4. Take time to work on the stuff I enjoy

  5. Use the PTO and vacation time

  6. I don't know, what I don't know

  7. People suck ( everyday, all day)

  8. Take the cape off

  9. Find time for yourself

  10. Peanut butter and celery together is nasty

  11. Don't take everything personal

  12. Never trust flattery

  13. Get 8hrs of sleep

  14. People will take advantage of my nice persona

  15. I don't always have to be right

  16. Co workers are co workers ( don't be fooled)

  17. I have alot to say

  18. Overthinking doesn't do any good

  19. I cant read peoples mind

  20. Buy the bag

  21. Being introverted is a positive, not a negative

  22. I cant change anyone

  23. Cant force people to see what I see

  24. I come first

  25. People don't have to understand me

  26. Speaking up is necessary

  27. Maintaining my peace is essential
